When Children Play with Toys They Shouldn’t

We visited my in-laws back in July and while there, my daughter thought it was just so much fun to play with the home phone.  No matter how many times we tried to stop her she would still go back and carry it around pretending to talk on it.  She wouldn’t turn on the phone, just carry it pretending. She did this so much that she even picked up the habits of her parents of multi-tasking while talking. You will see, she tries to feed the dog his treat while talking.

Well, I decided that one of these times I was going to record her because it was pretty cute how she was chatting away with her Grandma Di.  The funniest though was the surprise that hit her at the end of the recording. Make sure to watch it all the way through.  The last 10 seconds are hilarious!

Ever since this, she has been a little reluctant to play with phones.  Maybe I am safe now until she is at least 8 years old…
